• Doors will be unlocked at 7:30 for K - 8th graders to enter the building

• Students must have a mask on upon exiting their vehicle

• All students will be temperature checked and asked screening questions at their car (weather permitting) upon arrival

• If a student needs further health evaluation, the parent is to take them to the nurse’s station entrance located beyond the gym entrance (park in gym lot)

• No parent/guardian will be allowed inside the building without an appointment

• Students in all grades who want to eat breakfast will enter the gym door

• Students arriving between 7:50 and 8:00 will be offered a packaged breakfast to quickly eat

• Only a certain number of students will be allowed in the cafeteria at a time

• As early arrivers finish, they will be sent to their designated location to wait for the 8:00 bell

• If the cafeteria is full, students will wait in the gym then be sent to the cafeteria to eat as other students finish 

• Students who DO NOT want to eat breakfast will report to the following locations:

• Kindergarteners: Primary Playroom

•  Drop off at K Circle

• 1st grade: Primary Cafeteria

• Drop off at K Circle 

• 2nd - 5th grades: Gym

• Drop off at Gym 

• 6th - 8th grades: Auditorium 

• Drop off at Bell

• If a family has students in multiple grade bands to drop off, all students should be dropped off at the Gym lot. Staff will direct students where to go from there. 

• Students will be released in a staggered fashion and escorted to their classrooms

Important Dismissal Information

• Students with a ‘Walking Warrior’ pass will be dismissed at 3 PM to exit the building at designated exits

• All parents should remain in their car (with the exception of Pre-K) at all times

• Parents will not be allowed to walk-up or inside to get students

• Families will be provided two name placards to place in their windshield to speed up dismissal and minimize face to face encounters

• These will be given out on Registration day of choosing in-person or on the first day of school if registering online

   

• Students will be dismissed from the following locations (Staging Area):

• Kindergarten (2:00) - Kindergarten Circle (outside/playroom) or Gym Lot (Gym Lobby)

• Teachers will let parents know which location

• K. Chambers - Kindergarten Circle

• L. Herndon - Bell 

• 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grades, and older siblings - Gym Lot (Gym)

• 4th, 5th, 6th - Bell (Classrooms/Auditorium) 

• 7th & 8th - College St. Driveway (Classrooms)

• Vehicles enter Bell entrance then proceed straight to front of old building at top of driveway

• If a 7th or 8th grader has a sibling in 4th, 5th, or 6th grades, the 7th or 8th grader will exit at the Bell as well
