About Me
My name is Allison Hester. When I was younger, I went to NGS followed by CCHS for my four years of high school. After I graduated from CCHS, I went to The University of Virginia's College at Wise on a basketball scholarship. I played basketball for 5 years, and I was on the golf team for 3 years. I have two boys, Quinton (5) and Griffin (4), and a baby girl, Zimri (1).
I am entering my sixth year of teaching. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I come from a family of teachers, so it must run in our blood. I taught 6th grade math my first year, then transitioned to kindergarten for the following three years. I am excited to enter my sixth year of teaching in fourth grade teaching math again!
Three activities I like to do when I am not at school are: baking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
